GCAA and ACCA sign the Memorandum of Understanding

        On 10 December,2019,Dr. Ying Han Fan, the Chair of Global Chinese Accounting Association (GCAA),and Mr. Maurice Cheong, the Head of ACCA (TheAssociation of CharteredCertified Accountants) in Australia and NewZealand region, signed the Memorandum of Understanding(MoU). Both parties believe the MoU will provide mutual benefits to the membersof each organisation and promote accounting profession. GCAA and ACCA bothagree to work collaboratively on the strategies and marketing campaigns,professional trainings and further education, research conferences,professional development and student activities, and other joint outreachesetc.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Professor Nigel de Bussy, Pro Vice-Chancellor and the Dean of Faculty of Business and Law, Curtin University Professor Vanessa Chang, Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Saurav Dutta, the Head of School of Accounting, a member of the GCAA advisory board, staff members from the School of Accounting and School of Business Law, and the representative of ACCA, Gloria Li, Accounting Manager of Matrix Composites & Engineering Ltd.
