GCAA Executive Committees Secretariat Junru (Alex) Zhang Dr Junru Zhang (Alex) is a lecturerin accounting in the School of Business and Law at Edith Cowan University,Australia. Before his appointment, Alex worked at Commonwealth Bank where he is the Manager of Credit Risk Strategy and Assurance, and he has taught at Murdochand Curtin Universities. His research interest includes Corporate Social Responsibility, Carbon Accounting, Capital Markets, FinTech, and Big Data Analytics. Alex has an impressive publication record and has published in international refereed journals, such as: Journal of Computer Information System, Journal of Cleaner Production, Meditari Accountancy Research, Finance Research Letters, and International Review of Economics & Finance, among others. Xinrui Lin Xinrui Lin received her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Accounting Technology) degree from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Curtin University in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honors in 2019. She is currently a PhD candidate in Curtin University. Xinrui received First Prize Scholarship and Second Prize Scholarship from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, as well as CSC scholarship before she went to Australia. During her study inAustralia, she also received CPA Australia Scholarship, Curtin University Summer Research Scholarship and Curtin University Top Student Prize. Ruchuan Jiang Dr. Jiang obtained a Bachelor degree from Shandong University in 2008. He received a Master degree from China University of Political Science and Law in 2011 and received his Ph.D. Degree from Curtin University in 2019. He worked as an assistant lecturerat Shandong University of Science and Technology (Jinan campus) from 2011 to2014. He is currently a full-time lecturer at China University of Political Science and Law. He has coordinated and taught across several undergraduate financial accounting, auditing, and information systems units. His research interests include accounting ethics, ethical decision-making process, and behavioral research in accounting. He has published several papers in SSCI journals such as Accounting Forum and Transformation in Business& Economics. Research Department Tianpei Luo Dr. Tianpei Luo holds a senior lecturer position in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Curtin University, Australia. He received his PhD from Deakin University in 2016. His main research areas include political connection, ownership structure, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance in the Chinese capital market. He has publications in highly ranked journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Pacific Basin Finance Journal, and Accounting and Finance. One of his papers has received the Pacific Basin Finance Journal Best Paper award in 2015. Tianpei is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Corporate Finance, International Review of Finance, The World of Economy and Accounting and Finance. Xiaojian Tang Dr. Xiaojian Tang is an associate professor in the College of Finance at Nanjing Agricultural University, China. He obtained his PhD in Accounting from Sun Yat-sen University, China. Moreover, he is also taking post-doctoral research of Accounting in the School of Accounting, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, China. His research interests focus on corporate governance, corporate finance, and corporate social responsibility. He has published papers in academic journals such as Managementand Organization Review, Accounting Forum, Singapore Economic Review, and so on. Da Yang Dr. Yang received her PhD degree from Macquarie University, Australia. Before she graduated, she published two papers in Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal. Her main research areas include qualitative research,social and environmental accounting theories. She currently works as an associate professor in Yunnan University. Education Department Lingmei Cong Dr. Ling Mei Cong is currently the Deputy Dean, Learning and Teaching at Graduate School of Businessand Law, RMIT University. Ling Mei has 20 years of experience at the tertiary level in the Asia Pacific region, and is a fellow of the ACCA. Ling Mei holds a PhD in accounting from Curtin University. Her main research areas include corporate governance (with focuses on ownership structure, internationalisation strategy and firm performance), financial reporting quality, sustainability reporting and technology-enhanced learning. Her publications appear in leading journals including Technovation. Ling Mei has a passion for digital pedagogies and innovative teaching, and has rich experience in curriculum design. During her academic career, she has received a number of teaching awards including the Open University of Australia Commendation for being an online global performance leader in 2017. The Pearson textbook she co-authored,‘Accounting: An Introduction’, is adopted by various Universities in Australia.She was interviewed by Harvard Business Publishing Education in early 2021 on women’s leadership role in Business Schools post-pandemic. Siwen Song Dr.Song holds a lecturer (assistant professor) position at the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Curtin University, Australia. She received her PhD in Finance from University of Wollongong in 2020. She received her first Master’s Degree in Human Resource and Industrial Relations in 2012 from University of Manchester (UK), and a second Master’s Degree in Finance in 2014 from University of Wollongong (Australia). She got a full scholarship in 2015 to pursue her PhD degree in Finance at the University of Wollongong. She also has a year’s industry experience working at China Construction Bank (ShandongBranch). Deyong Wu Mr. Wu received his Bachelor of Management from Yunan University of Finance and Economics. He is a Certified Projects Data Analyst. He is currently the principal of Kunming Candlelight Finance Training School. He has been engaged in education and training for 11 years. He is responsible for training and managing about 5,000 financial personnel every year. He has rich experience in curriculum development, teaching management, marketing and business development. In 2018, it was rated as "Excellent Moral Education Worker" by Wuhua District People's Government of Kunming City. IndustryDepartment Gloria Li Gloria is a senior accounting professional with nearly 20 years substantial working experience primarily in ASX listed companies. She has developed her skill set in various industries, including energy and resources, property development, manufacturing, and technology. Apart from management of day-to-day accounting activities, she has considerable experience in statutory reporting, ASX and ASIC compliance, Board and management reporting, data analysis, and tax compliance. Gloria is now a fellow of ACCA,a member of CPA Australia and CICPA. She obtained Master of Accounting with Distinction from Curtin University. In addition to her professional qualifications, she has also obtained Diploma of Leadership and Risk Management. Dapeng Men Mr. Men is Senior Analyst of Rio Tinto's iron ore business in Australia, responsible for managing RioTinto's ongoing portfolio of assets, including the use of forecasting tools, providing monthly reports, coordinating periodic asset plans and forecasts, and providing asset forecasting and planning training to relevant personnel. He has many years of management accounting experience and worked for CITIC Pacific Mining Limited to assist in the overall budget and financial analysis of the China-Australia iron ore project. Mr. Men graduated from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics with a bachelor's degree in economics. He graduated from Monash University with a master's degree in applied finance. He is an Australian Certified Public Accountant. He is also a NAATI Certified Chinese-English two-way three-level translator. Pan Pan Pan Pan received his Bachelor degree of Marketing from Huazhong University of Science and Technology China (top #15 university in China). Pan Pan came to Australia in 2008 to pursuit his further education at Curtin University and graduated in 2010 with a Master of Professional Accounting degree. Pan joined Perth Airport as Vice President Aviation Business Development in Feb 2020. Pan has been involved in operational and commercial roles in both airport and airlines for around 10 years since graduated from Curtin University. Prior to joining Perth Airport, Pan held the position of Sales Executive of Qatar Airways and Sales and Marketing manager of China Southern Airlines, where he was responsible for implementing a growth strategy for both airlines. In 2019, Pan has become a committee member for ACBC WA Education and Tourism Committee, Western Australia and Freight and Logistics Council of WA, and Australia Airport Association. Membership Department Cong Mu Cong MU, was granted Bachelor Degree in Management(Accounting) in Economic and Business School of Wuhan University. Cong was a Financial Accountant in a NFP in WA after completing Master Degree in Accounting and Marketing in Adelaide University. Cong is also a qualified CPA. Cong is currently working towards the PhD Degree in Curtin University. Her research areas include CSR assurance, sustainability assurance and reporting in China. Qiongqiong Xing Ms Xing obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Shandong University of Science and Technology in 2009 and a Master’s degree from Curtin University in 2011. She became a full-time manager at Aohua International Education from 2012. In 2016, she obtained a Graduate Certificate of Migration Law and Legal Practice from Australian National University. During her employment with Aohua, the company's performance has doubled and continues to grow steadily. At the same time, partnerships and cooperation projects of the company are expanded and diversified. GCAA Public Platform Operation Department Huiyuan Yi Huiyuan Yi obtained a Bachelor degree in management from the Capital University of Economics and Business. During her studies, she served as the president of the Entrepreneurship Development Association from 2018 to 2019 and the leader of the college's volunteer service team. She won several awards in innovation and entrepreneurship and data analysis competitions (such as the first prize in Beijing and the third prize in the National University Student E-commerce"Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship" competition in 2018). She also won the honorary titles of Beijing Outstanding Graduate, First-Class Scientific Research and Innovation Scholarship, and Outstanding Student Leaderof the school. She published a few papers were collected by EI and Scopus, and participated in many scientific research projects such as national large-scalescience and technology innovation, national social science fund, and monograph publication. Linjie Zhang Linjie is currently a bachelor student in Capital University of Economics and Business, China. She is responsible for GCAA Online Seminars and the Ximalaya Platform of GAF. She actively prepares and participates several national and school-level competitions in the university. She received several awards such as National Scholarship, Merit-based Scholarship of Capital University of Economics and Business, Merit Student and so on. She received the second prize of 2021 ‘Internet+’ National College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the third prize of 2021 Mathematical Contest in Modeling. She was ranked as Excellence in a College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program. She participated in the establishmentand operation of GCAA, GAF and YGIAT in 2019. Yinxian Song Yinxian is currently a bachelor student in Capital University of Economics and Business, China. She is responsible for the official account of GCAA and Digitalized Accounting Platform of GAF. She severed as the leader of College Student Innovation and EntrepreneurshipTraining Program of Capital University of Economics and Business during 2020-2021. She received 2019-2020 First Prize Scholarship, the second prize of 2020 National English Competition for College Student and the second prize of 2021 Mathematical Contest in Modeling. She participated in the establishmentand operation of GAF in 2019 and the operation of GCAA in 2021. Xin Zhang Xin is currently a bachelor student in Capital University of Economics and Business, China. He served in the accounting forum of Capital University of Economics and Business during 2019-2020. He was awarded Excellent Class Monitor of Beijing City. He successfully held several class meetings with different topics. He received the third prize of an English Interview and the second price of ‘Corporate Governance Simulation Internship’. He participated in the establishment and operation of GCAA in 2019. GCAA Sub-platforms Guohua Wang Guohua is currently a bachelor student in Capital University of Economics and Business, China. She received the Merit-based Scholarship and National Encouragement Scholarship in 2019. In 2020, she leaded a team and participated in a College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, which is ranked Excellent. In 2021, she leaded a team and participated Campus Interdisciplinary Comprehensive Experimental Training and received the firstprize. She joined GCAA in 2019 and she is responsible for the operation and preparation of GAF. Xin Zhao Xin received a bachelor’s degree of Japanese and she is currently a master student in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China. She is a member of YGIAT and responsible for the notifications of news and meetings, as well as the examination of contents announced on the official account. Xin is currently a member of ACCA and has consolidated professional knowledge of accounting. She has an international vision and language advantages, and she aspires to become an international interdisciplinary talent. Runhua Hong Runhua received a bachelor’s degree of Accounting from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and he is currently a master student in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China. He actively participates volunteering activities and serves as a class leader in the university. He has excellent academic performances. He is responsible for the operation of YGIAT’s official account and platform. Qingfen Wang Qinfen is currently a master student in YunnanUniversity of Finance and Economics, China. She is a member of GCAA_ZAC, and responsible for the operation and typesetting of articles of the official account. She served as the Head of Art Department, School of Accounting in Yunnan University of Finance and Economics when she was a bachelor student.
